DECOMPOSITION OF COMPLEX VECTOR SPACE n INTO INVARIANT SUSPACES
Abstract
- This paper study the existence of eigenvalue for every linear operator on a finite-dimensional complex vector space. In this paper, we will discuss although eigenvectors corresponding to distinct eigenvalues are linearly independent, they can not span the complex vector space. Then we give decomposition of complex vector space into generalized eigenspaces and Jordan subspaces.
