The representatives of The Science Council of Japan/ The Science Council of Asia approached the MAAS on 5th May 2012 to establish contacts with Myanmar scholars and academicians and open up opportunities for cooperation in research and education.
The Science Council of Japan/Science Council of Asia (SCA) at this meeting put up a proposal for Myanmar’s membership in the Science Council of Asia.
The Science Council of Asia was founded under the auspices of the Science Council of Japan
