STUDY ON HUMIDITY SENSITIVE ELECTRICAL PROPERTIES OF ARIUM FERRITE
Abstract
- Barium ferrites, BaFe2O4, were prepared by solid state reaction method. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) method was used for qualitative phase analysis of the samples and to estimate the crystallite sizes of the samples. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) was used to examine the morphological features of the samples. The powders were made into circular shape pellets and their humidity sensitive electrical properties of the samples were studied in the relative humidity range of 50 RH% – 98 RH%. The sensitivities of the samples were compared with each other for humidity sensor application.
