THE IMPACT OF TIME MANAGEMENT ON EXAMINATION ANXIETY OF UNDERGRADUATES AT PYAY UNIVERSITY
Abstract
- Effective time management is an essential skill for university students, as it helps to alleviate anxiety about exam. The primary purpose of this study was to explore the impact of time management on examination anxiety of undergraduates at Pyay University in Bago Region, Myanmar. A total of 395 undergraduates from Pyay University participated in this study, completing self-report questionnaires such as the Time Management Scale, Cognitive Test Anxiety Scale, and demographic surveys. The regression analyses indicated that students’ time management skills significantly and negatively predicted their cognitive test anxiety levels. The results of this study will provide practical insights into time management and examination anxiety, helping university students manage their exam anxiety more effectively.
